I had a mixed experience at Banner. Most of the staff was exceptional—friendly, professional, and attentive, making the visit pleasant overall. However, one nurse’s behavior stood out negatively. The nurses behavior (Holly) was dismissive and rude. Her attitude made me feel uncomfortable and undervalued as a patient. Unfortunately, this single interaction significantly impacted my experience, leading to the one-star rating. I hope the facility addresses this to ensure all patients feel respected.

My four day stay beginning in the ER, was very positive. The ER staff and imaging was very caring and friendly. Once I was admitted, the care was even better! I would like to particularly thank Nurse Matt, Nurse Julie, CNA Lance, and Housekeeper Esther for their above and beyond care of me!

We have had to bring my dad twice to the ER due to severe dehydration, he is 86 and has dementia. All this was shared with the staff. The first time they removed his IV the removed without any solvent and he went very aggressive. It took 6 of us to hold him down. This is a common behavior with dementia patients, but the staff didn’t seem to care. Fast forward to the next time, we ended up having the same nurse who was very mean to him and us while treating him. I ended up asking to have the nurse removed from his care. I also asked to have a solvent to help remove the IV bandages and I was informed they had never heard of them and they rarely remove IVs in the ER. Every other nurse I have talked with knew of such solvent and was told Ears remove IVs all the time. I 100% taking care of deme

This hospital is pathetic. The staff is absolutely amazing and does a wonderful job. We have loved our doctors and nurses here. But the horrible decisions made by the “buisness” managers have led to them closing departments and firing fantastic people. The patient service is garbage now and they continue to close more departments. Don’t go here. I wish they would treat their people much better than they do, but that’s what happens when we make healthcare a “for profit” business.

The doctors and nurses here were excellent—we truly appreciated their care and compassion during our stay for my wife’s emergency C-section delivery. However, we had significant concerns about administrative decisions and communication. During the procedure, I received very limited updates on what was happening. Afterward, we learned the maternity unit was scheduled to close shortly, which raised questions about potential risks had the emergency not occurred. We also heard about recent staff departures in obstetrics (including midwives and leadership) due to cost-cutting measures, and several doctors leaving recently—none of which was disclosed to us upfront.
