Wonderful experience at Banfield in South Loop. Staff at check-in was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Jantzi called me to inform me with every step they took to take care of my cat! I knew he was well taken care of! Pick up was smooth and staff was so friendly from start to finish! Great experience! Thank you Dr. Jantzi and Banfield team!!!!!

Recently, our dog began experiencing health issues. We brought him to Banfield twice within the past two two months but each time we received only general information and no clear diagnosis. A week after the last visit, we had to take him to the emergency clinic. The veterinarians there determined that our dog had stomach mass possible cancer also neurological with a medication that this Banfield vet recommended.. call and told them never received a call back .. the lady in the front is so rude the one on the heaver side she was like bring diaper next time I had to clean all the poop cause you dog started pooping .. that the main reason she was their .. also she had a diaper on .. is deeply concerning that none of the veterinarians at Banfield identified his the stomach mass or any of th

Our dog had been covered under a Banfield policy since he was two months old. Over the past twelve years, he was seen by several veterinarians at this location; however, many of them appeared to have limited experience. When our dog was about one year old, he frequently scratched his eyes and head, often until the area bled. At that time, the veterinarian was unable to identify the cause but suspected heartworm and recommended multiple tests. After conducting our own research, my husband discovered that our dog’s symptoms were consistent with allergies. Very disappointed with my experience. I received a call from a Banfield representative who said my appointment had to be canceled due to a past-due balance. I assured her I would get the account number that same day and fully settle the balance, and asked that my appointment remain since it was going to be paid anyway. She repeatedly refused without giving a clear explanation, only saying she “couldn’t do it.” As the call went on, her tone became rude and dismissive. I explained that this appointment was the only time I had available to drop off my dog to see the doctor, but she showed no empathy or willingness to help and denied the appointment again.
