Baldwin Harbor Podiatry - Dr. Roger Kilfoil

My mom has been going here for a long time. She is 93. Dr Kilfoil has been wonderful with her. We appreciate the care and time they take to make sure her feet can still function .....and her "boots are made for walkin"!

If I were able to put 0 stars, I would. I showed up to my appointment last week and I had to wait until Dr. Kilfoil decided to show up. He finally decided to show up and he reeked of alcohol and his eyes were blood shot red. He talked extremely fast and I felt like I was talking to someone mentally unstable; not a doctor. It wasn't even 1pm! He was definitely under the influence and he looked like he has been doing so for days. Thankfully it was just a consult, I would never let this guy near my body with tools. He was a mess and I made a report to the NY State board of health but I wanted to make more people aware. This man should not be allowed to see patients like this!

I've been with this podiatry office for many, many years and I've never been more disappointed than since they got new staff. I called to reschedule an appointment that was the next day and got the machine and left a message. The next morning, same thing. Two days later, same thing. I can't remember the last time I called an actually spoke to a person. And what medical office is only open 3 days a week? Turned into a total disappointment 😞. I guess it's time to find a new podiatrist/office

The front desk is unresponsive when leaving messages , even when things are urgent. The doctor may be knowledgeable but should care more about his patient when it comes to urgent issues as well. For someone with such good ratings, my family and expected better care.

I booked Dr. Kilfoil twice for a home visit for my 85 year old mother who is in a wheelchair and can move a little with a walker. The first time I took off from work half a day to make sure it went well I had all her paperwork ( medicare , Aarp ) ready and photo copied for him etc . We waited and hour and a half no show. She was having discomfort because her nails grow inward. When I called and asked what happened they apologized and rebooked for the following Friday . Well here we are again another half a day of work lost for me and another No Show for Dr. Kilfoil , the office did not pick up on the phone when I called again . If they weren’t going to come and told me so , I would have just resumed the difficult task of getting her into the car and to a regular podiatrist. What a Lousy
