Back Bay Rehabilitation

I've had a few visits now at Back Bay and it is my first time ever doing physical therapy, so far I have found everyone I've worked with in the office and my physical therapist Shane very pleasant and accommodating and helpful. I was worried having psoriatic arthritis not much really could be done for me or I might make it angry and flare up but it is helping with my tendonitis and Inflammation in my shoulder. So far so 👍 good, looking forward to working on the rest of my painful areas and inflammation.

I was referred to Back Bay rehabilitation by the VA community care program. At first there was a little confusion due to the VA’s referral whether to do PT or OT. The secretaries at Back Bay handled everything to get the confusion resolved. They got it resolved and I started PT with Hannah who is very professional and very knowledgeable she listened to my concerns and we came up with a treatment program that works for me. I get the sense that she is generally concerned about my rehabilitation. I had a lot of numbness and tension in my muscles and she recommended dry needling I strongly recommend dry needling because it took half the numbness in the tension in my muscles in my hand away. This is an amazing facility with incredible therapists who are very knowledgeable and informative. Very dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about patient care & wellness. The building is always staffed with trainers such as Kristin. Proper equipment avaialble for necessitated effective various forms of treatment. Incredibly clean bathrooms with a fully functioning facility with a newly renovated indoor pool. Jane at the front desk is VERY welcoming and heartfelt personality that is star QUALITY. Barbara, the other receptionist, however, has grave difficulty with proper client services for scheduling & communication skills are less than desirable causing hubris conflict with scheduled appointments with insurance provided traveling arrangements resulting in "LOST" oppertuniti

I had heard good things about Back Bay. I have been there twice. The office was clean, office staff was courteous, but I did have a hard time getting the appointments I needed. The facility was clean, the pool area was clean also. Clean changing rooms. The first time I had a therapist that was very good. Kind, on time, caring, professional, explained things very well. If I had that issue again, because it was specialized, I would go back to her. The second time ------ well, I would not go back there. Two appointments were cancelled--via snail mail---which did not work for me since I don't get my mail every day. Once I went because I had not gotten the cancellation notice and the therapist had another patient. She said we could both go in the pool together for therapy. I am not sure eith
