Azalealand Nursing Home Inc

My father just spent the last six months of his life at Azalealand. We were very pleased with the care, the professionalism, the cleanliness, the food and the happy demeanor of the staff. I would highly recommend it. It is a nursing home and it is an older building but a flashy new building can not replace excellent quality care.

This facility had been wonderful in caring for my mom. The staff is caring, supportive, communicative & kind. We had to move my mom to a facility closer to me in Florida, & I can only hope that the new facility is just as good! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 it’s so hard to find and trust a SNF to care for your loved ones, especially when they’re sick & need 24/7 care. Azalealand is amazing at what they do!

The amount of overwhelming neglect, abuse, and general disregard for patient well-being is appalling. Patients left in their own filth for up to 12 hours sometimes. No concern for actually rehabilitating patients, just do the bare minimum do get thier money. After a short stint of rehabilitation care, my grandmother, who'd had a fall that resulted in a brain bleed and then brain surgery, this facility let insurance know she was ready to be discharged. Previous to this, throughout all of her time there, we were told repeatedly that she was "too weak" to do basically anything on her own. Their change of heart came "coincidentally" right after we informed them we didn't want to move her to long-term nursing care, which would result in Azalealand receiving 95% of her social security check ev

Do not bring your precious love one to this place. Zero compassion . Never available to help with your love one. He told me over and over how no one would come and check on him. He always smelled like urine. It doesn't deserve any stars.

Had a loved one here for rehab and PT. Can't say enough about the staff and patient experience. Being locally/family owned, the team at Azalealand clearly places emphasis on patients. All of the nurses and therapists were kind and helpful. I would recommend Azalealand over ANY other skilled nursing facility in the Savannah area.
