Top notch care. Dr. Robert Burlet, nurses, all staff were amazing. I brought my husband to the ER about 10:30 am, with exceptional care we are grateful to have received prompt & effective care. Avoyelles ER will be our first and only choice. ❤️

Racist hospital. They gave me weird looks , the doctor didn’t even check me . He only spoke about Tylenol causing autism and asked if I take it (mind u I’m 33 weeks pregnant ) I said not really . He proceeded to go speak on that with his colleagues and they were laughing saying “every mother takes Tylenol “ . THE worst part about it is they lied about my urine results out of pure laziness and racism and said I had a uti and to take medicine for it . I went to another doctor 20 mins after and was told nothing came back up in my pee ! I will be reporting

The nurses are exceptional. The place is clean and I was in and out of the ER relatively quickly. However (and I know they’re aware because he’s the cause of their low rating) Dr. Ritter is a menace. Rude, condescending, and barbaric. Get rid of this guy and you’d have a top notch medical facility.

My recent visit to the emergency room was outstanding. I received a prompt and thorough diagnosis, followed by an effective treatment plan. I am truly grateful to have such a facility in Avoyelles. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Tim Curry, the doctors, nurses, and the entire support staff for their exceptional service and dedication. Thank you for making a challenging situation much more manageable!

I really wish they would wash their hands when tending to my mom. A quick search tells me they do not follow hand wash protocol. When we asked them to wash their hands, they did, but we felt like we were asking for special treatment. This is medical protocol, for very good reason.
