Avonora Pharmacy

Absolutely five stars. The pharmacy staff are quick, competent, and actually seem to care about getting things right the first time—a rare phenomenon in modern civilization. Prescriptions are filled fast, the place is spotless, and the pharmacists answer questions without acting like you’ve ruined their day. Efficient, reliable, and just pleasant enough to make you forget you’re there because something hurts.

I was very disappointed because I had to wait a long time only to be told that my insurance didn’t go through so I was forced to pay out of pocket. I had to waste my time calling the insurance company and eventually got a refund. I did not have the same issue when going to the pharmacy just a block away.

I took my vaccine today, It was a great experience. Safe and timely. I didn’t even feel the pain, doctor had a very steady hand.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new pharmacy. The staff at Avonora were polite but my experience was much more difficult than it needed to be. I was told that my insurance card wasn’t “active,” meaning that it wasn’t up to date. I was also tasked with calling my old pharmacy to get information regarding my prescription. When I gave the pharmacist this Information, she informed me that it was incorrect (even though I had already confirmed its validity with my previous pharmacy). I was also asked to call my insurance provider to retrieve certain information. I’ve never had to do so many things to get a prescription. And truthfully, I believe that much of what I was tasked with is the responsibility of the pharmacy and its staff. Due to these issues, I was unable to receive
