Avir at Keeneland

My Father, DeWayne Cokendolpher recently passed peacefully in the care of Keeneland. He passed at the age of 72. His Father Wilbur Cokendolpher had also passed peacefully in the care of Keeneland at the age of 72. I can tell you that one day I will retire at Keeneland as well. The DON, Jacob Free, Administrator, Becky, Wellness Director, Diane, Social Worker, Tammy Turner, our favorite nurse, Viola, the many, kind and attentive staff from CNAs, the awesome kitchen staff and housekeeping....they are like family. I once worked for Keeneland and they were so helpful, I am an RN and never felt like the team wasn't there for one another! I moved close to home but kept my father at Keeneland because I know from years of experience that they are a caring, attentive and fun bunch to be around. Tha

This is such a great place. All of the staff truly care about the patients. The outings and all of the fun and games that are provided really keeps the residents engaged. I couldn’t have picked a better place for my mom to spend her final days. Dementia is hard but the staff has truly cared for my mom. They have been on top of things big and small. Keeneland will always hold a special place in my heart.

We had to put our father in a long-term-care facility and they were wonderful. My father was having difficulties with allowing anyone to bath him and they took on that challenge and got him bathed! Wonderful CNAs, Helpful Nurse's and the office staff was stellar, always there to help when needed with that pesky paperwork. I'm only sorry that we had to discharge him to move him to another facility closer when he began declining further.

Visited my family today and all staff were attentive and friendly. The facility was warm, clean and I know they are taking great care of my father. I appreciate the hard working, dedicated staff from the office to the certified care staff, housekeeping and kitchen. Thank you all, we're blessed to be part of your family.

The Adm Becky, the DON Jacob and the AD Tina have been very attentive and did great followup when our Mom had Covid. I had one minor concern since her admission to the facility and Becky actually held a training in service meeting and spoke with all the staff. That's going above the call of duty. They are a good group of conscientious folks. Our Mom is happy there and loves her roommate.
