Avera Medical Group Family Health Center — Marion Rd

I was seen today as a new patient with Dr. Sara Neibauer. I had a fantastic conversation. She was professional, patient, kind, and down to earth. She listened and acknowledged she heard what I was saying by her responses. I felt comfortable and validated. The nurse assisting her was very nice and helpful too. I’m very happy how the appointment turned out. Thank you!

Dr Rees was very kind, gentle, and respectful. He listened to my concerns, made sure I understood any concerns he had, and was helpful in making my health plan to move forward in a positive way! He is very understanding of geriatric issues, especially when it involves caregiving. I am so glad I found him!

I was pleasantly pleased with my office visit with Leah Mergen. She was very thorough and listened so carefully to me. I felt very comforted when we were finished. She is a great PA-C and has a wonderful personality.

I went at 3:30 on a weekday afternoon for a first visit. There were no other patients to wait behind so I was greeted immediately by the nurse. Was only there for 40 minutes all in, and that included filling out new patient paperwork and making a stop at the lab on the way out. Not sure when the building was constructed but it still has a very new look and feel. The ladies behind the desk could use a little personality but we're otherwise helpful and friendly enough.

My experience with the Avera Medical Group Family Health Center is positive. I have been a patient at this location since I moved back to South Dakota in 2024. The staff I have encountered are responsive, kind, great listeners, and helpful. I have nothing negative to say. I feel so lucky to have this clinic in my neighborhood with all of my imaging needs at the same location. It is so convenient. Parking is easy, and the building is easy to navigate with excellent signage.
