Avera Maryhouse

My mom is a new resident here and she likes it… A lot. It’s a huge piece of mind knowing she’s safe and she’s OK. I sent a care package and one of the nurses video called me as she opened it. Wonderful. Can’t say enough great things. Thank you Mary House!

The transitional care unit at Avera Mary house is providing excellent care to my mom. No one wants to be in transitional care and if you have to be there then there is no better place to be than Maryhouse in Pierre SD!! Amanda the OT and Brittney the PT are amazing! Nora is fantastic! Nurses Jane and Lori are incredible. Also great are Andy, Edzel, Miguel, James, Giavanni, Avery, Natasha and Christian. I’m sure I’m leaving folks out & im sorry. I met many staff members while visiting my mom and I was genuinely, heartfelt impressed with each of them. THANK YOU for the challenging work you do each and every day. Unclean facility with unprofessional rude staff. Our experience with Maryhouse has been so bad we have hired an attorney to address the long list of issues. Some of the biggest problems we faced was the staff forgetting to feed, forgetting to provide medications, and frequent arguments with our family over the care provided.

The gentleman was very polite thx
