Aventa Specialized Women's Care— OBGYN

The front desk, lab and doctors are all fantastic! The office is very nice. My main complaint is that they are consistently 30-40+ min late to pull me back to be seen. I understand that there may be delays or other things happening, but if they know they are consistently behind schedule they should schedule accordingly. I’ve waited almost and hr and half one day at the longest. I spend alot of time at the doctors and to have to wait that long every time i come in is quite frustrating. Again everything else about the office is fantastic. I just wish they would not take so long for me to be seen!

I would not recommend this facility. From the moment I arrived, I felt more like a body than a person. The doctor showed little bedside manner and seemed disengaged, which made me feel unheard and dismissed. Even the waiting area made me uncomfortable; loud Christian music played throughout, creating an environment that felt more focused on religious expression than patient comfort or inclusivity. Overall, I left feeling unseen and unsupported.

Very nice facility. Looks new. Decorated beautifully. Made me feel comfortable. Not like a regular Dr.'s office. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of eye contact. The NP explained everything before, then step by step. She was patient, understanding, and answered all my questions. This was my first visit, and I'm glad I switched to Aventa.

The overall atmosphere at this place is very comforting. The employees in the labs are so funny and always having a good time in there. Everyone is very proffessional for the most part. I feel heard when I'm here and that is what matters most to me. They are good at calling back, and are very attentive. I love and adore the sweet lady at check in (wish I could remember her name) but she's always smiling and so friendly. Today was the busiest day I've seen with us having to wait for every little thing we had done but that is okay, things happen and I understand. If you are looking for an awesome OBGYN doctor, Dr. Torrence is your doctor. She is awesome! My experience with her was not like any OBGYN. She is very thorough and explains everything to you. She actually does a complete exam! She is excellence personified! By far the best OBGYN that I have ever had. With the U.S. healthcare, it is truly a blessing to still have a doctor that genuinely care about their patients and show so much passion and concern about her patients.
