Avecina Medical Urgent Care of St. Johns

I’ve taken all 3 of my kiddos to this location off 210 in St Johns and every time it’s on a weekend and this staff is absolutely amazing! You don’t get the runaround like other urgent cares. I happened to need treatment this morning as I had developed some kind of reaction to something over the past 3 days and I half expected the dr to tell me to use over the counter topicals, but she could tell I was in some serious discomfort and gave me a steroid shot on the spot. I’m already feeling better and it’s only been 1 hour. This is my go-to place for minor issues that require immediate attention and I cannot recommend them enough!

Highly recommend this Urgent Care over the others in the area. Deborah at check-in and Emily our doctor was so great. The environment is very colorful and comforting too which we loved. This is a very well run place who actually cares about patient comfort. Wait was not long either.

Both my husband and I were walk in’s with flu like symptoms. The staff was friendly and the wait was not long. We were treated quick and the physical assessment and exams were very thorough. I highly recommend going to this location. Very pleased with the prompt services we received and the kindness from the staff especially when we were not feeling our best.

It was my first time at the facility. I took my 9-year-old son after a suspected fracture.The receptionist was kind and pleasant. The doctor was knowledgeable, professional.and very nice. The place is clean and the staff communicated well. We were in and out within an hour. X ray was done on site with the results available immediately. I was very pleased and will surely be coming back!

We have gone here twice in the last few months and have had such a great experience! We have an almost 2 year old who needed treatment for croup and then glass removal from his foot a few months later. They saved us an ER trip both times and were so quick and kind. They were wonderful with our little guy and we are lucky to have them so close!
