Avecina Medical Urgent Care of St. Augustine

My experience was good today, I made a reservation online, filled out paperwork before going in, and was seen pretty much right on time. The front desk girls were very kind and the doctor I saw made the visit quick and easy. Overall a great place!

I was seen at Avencia medical urgent care today. I was diagnosed with bronchitis. The doctor that saw me was very professional and thorough and kind. Three medications were prescribed for me and they were immediately called to my pharmacy so that I could pick them up in a timely manner. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful as well. And the place was very clean!! I would highly recommend this facility to any of my friends and family!!

Absolutely amazing! I would rate 10 stars if I could. Let me explain... To start off the check in process was super easy if you are familiar with how to scan a QR code and check in online. Wait time was about 20 minutes but keep in mind I was second in line when I got there. I came in with flu like symptoms that were a bit strange to me like acid reflux. I was brought back and asked my symptoms. The female doctor who asked me questions was so patient and easy to understand. I got a nose swab to test for flu and covid and the test came back within 10 minutes. Then a different doctor came in to ask me some more questions. He was also very kind, understanding, and he actually listened to me! I have had some pretty weird symptoms in the past that doctors didn't listen to or brushed off, but

I can't remember the name of our PA, but he was a young African African guy and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable, and he even let me look down my son's throat. This place is amazing! Friendly and super quick care.

This was my first visit. The check-in process is very smooth and effortless. The staff is super sweet and those who treated me were attentive, professional and humorous. This is my new urgent care go to! Thank you for a great experience during an uncomfortable time.
