If I could give 0 Stars I would. I started in an empty waiting room which should have been my first clue. When it was my moment with the P.A. barely any time was spent looking at my actual injury. More time was spent assuming that I need an orthopedic surgeon and how I wasnt going to loose my finger. More time was spent trying to figure out multiples of 8 (hrs between meds) than my finger being looked at. Took the P.A. maybe 3 seconds to determine I was going to lose my finger. I understand the location is a little precarious (on the knuckle) but I'm asking for only a lancing thata roughly skin deep, I'm not asking you to dig into my finger. I appreciate the honestly but I would better if their medical assumptions came after the bandage was removed. Couldn't wait to get out of that r

If you find yourself in need of an urgent care facility this is a place to go. I was bitten by brown recluse spider and had already been to another urgent care and the hospital and the doctor here was way more knowledgeable than both. His medical assistant is also very knowledgeable and sweet. Very clean everybody's nice and they know what they're doing. Five plus Stars

I’ve been to several Avecinas around Gainesville and I’ve never had an issue. I always go right at opening through their scheduling (easy to navigate and reschedule), so sometimes it takes a minute for them to get things set up, but I’m never waiting for too long. Always friendly, clean, not overstimulating, and overall a good experience. The practitioners are also super open about sharing other resources, like how testing for certain things may be cheaper at other locations, etc. Thanks guys!!

My son found this location online while I was experiencing severe shoulder pain. I tend to avoid doctors as much as possible but had been dealing with increasing pain for almost two weeks. I was able to book an appointment online to be seen within 20 minutes and upon arrival, I waited less than 5 minutes despite the office being short-staffed with the nurse having to work at the front desk and the exam room. The staff are truly kind, attentive, and professional. Dr. Arturo recommended a treatment plan accommodating to my desire for holistic medicine while educating me on the possible severity of my injury. This was my second trip to Avecina medical care in Gainesville, Florida. Despite my feeling poorly, I was actually excited to be going there because our first visit for husband and myself was exceptional! At each visit I found the staff to be kind and professional. The place is spotless. I actually observed the woman working at the desk sanitizing door knobs and other high touch surfaces, including the bathroom In between uses As retired nurse I fully appreciate the care and attention to detail that we receive at this facility.
