Very Poor Care and Disrespectful Staff The nurses are very disrespectful toward patients and their families. Especially the Haitian nurse on the night shift in the Orlando Location. She was very rude to me on two occasions. The first time, I asked her if my grandmother was receiving pain medication after her hip replacement surgery. Of course, she would be in pain, but the nurse avoided giving her the medicine. When I asked a third time, she responded sarcastically and annoyed, and my grandmother was only given Tylenol. When I asked about therapies or what medications had been administered, her answer was always “I don’t know.” If she is the nurse in charge, she should know this information. She should have checked the system before answering, showing little interest in providing accurate

Our 60 yr. old disabled daughter spent a little over a month here in rehab and I spent a good deal of that time arguing with staff. The rehab staff was satisfactory and the staff in general is friendly but the facility relies heavily on agency personnel - many of whom seemed to constantly being brought up to speed. Medication amounts and times were a constant battle. The biggest issue was consistently failing to reorder our daughter’s medications before she ran out. She is bi-polar and since that medication is so expensive, the family is required to furnish it. They failed to notify us that she was running low and three days before her scheduled release, she ran out. They still didn’t notify us, our daughter did! If we had not had some on hand, it would have been a panic situation and they

7 years ago My mother was brought to this location after she had begun stage 4 lung failure due to emphysema she was on a ventilator for 7 months in this place at which time sometimes there would not be a nurse to be able to help her change or clean up after herself after an accident for hours! At one time she was brought to the hospital because her CO2 level was extremely high when they got it under control they sent her back to this facility at which time there was a temp who was doing with my mother's oxygen tank and being able to hook her back up to the ventilator when I got to the place my mother was turning blue and she coded all because this lady that they had brought into the facility did not turn on her oxygen!
