Avance Care Southeast Cary

I've been a patient of Dr.Gill for 15yrs.+. Always a friendly, professional staff to complement his wonderful demeanor. Advance Care is very lucky to have such a great Doctor and overall person. Caring and understanding of what the patient is enduring and Always having their best interest at heart. Side note... I now live an hour and half away and still would drive further just to keep him as my Primary Physician.

After researching providers due to recent changes in my insurance coverage, I called today to schedule a new patient appointment with Dr. Gill. The staff member who answered the phone (TAE or Shay) stated the name of the facility and asked for my name, but did not offer a greeting. I initially found this unusual but provided my name. When I began to explain that I was calling to schedule a new patient appointment, she abruptly interrupted and stated that she needed a moment to pull up my account. I informed her that I did not yet have an account. There was a pause, after which she asked how she could help me. I hesitated because I was taken aback by the tone and overall demeanor of the interaction. She then repeated the question. I typically do not raise concerns over brief interactions;

We were able to get a sick visit by scheduling the day before! Dr. Gill listened to my elderly mother regarding her symptoms and treated her with compassion and care he was not only professional but also friendly and put mom at ease since another member of the staff was her primary care professional. We were very pleased!

I brought my 85 year old mom here for a primary care visit. All the staff were super friendly and I felt she got top notch care. Highly recommend this practice!!

The people there are wonderful and easy to talk to however I have been waiting for a dermatology referral since July. I had called on multiple occasions to say that I was now in boone due to college and needed my dermatologist referral to be closer to boone. For 4 months they sent my referral to places in cary. Everytime they would send a referral and I would state I needed one closer to boone, I would wait weeks to hear from the dermatologist and then they would say they are in cary and I would have to ask them to send the referral back to avance care and ask for it to be referred closer to boone. Then I would wait weeks to hear back from avance care confirming that they got the referral sent back. On one occasion I called avance care and asked why I had not gotten my referral to somewher
