Avalon Place

I’m very disappointed with this nursing home. The quality of service is inconsistent and unreliable. Many staff members seem untrained or unprofessional, and the overall care provided does not meet expectations. The food is poor, and while the staff may put on friendly smiles, it often feels like they are covering up deeper issues. Overall, I cannot recommend this facility and would advise others to look elsewhere.

I wouldnt even give them one star but in order to post this review, I had to give them at least one. Some of the nursing staff bullied me and left me in a bed full of urine knowing I could not get myself to the toilet. When I did mange to get to the bathroom, they would not empty the portable toilet and left it to fill up. The staff is surly, rude and uncarrying. The food was slop, I wouldnt want to give my dog. Go anywhere but here. The 6 days I spent were tramatic and hellish.

The Staff at Avalon Place did an awesome job working with my Mother during her recent stay (Recovery). They were courteous, professional and efficient in helping her get back on her feet. The therapy staff along with the nursing staff exceeded my expectations. My Mom was happy and always joking with everyone. I highly recommend Avalon Place. Thank you all so much for everything!

The staff at Avalon Place gave extraordinary care to my father during his brief time there. They took excellent care of him during his most difficult days. My family will be forever grateful to Avalon Place.

My grandmother has been put in the memory care unit and the behavior of the majority of staff has been appalling. They yell at the residents, play their own music loudly, lost my grandmothers hearing aid, got the other one wet, her hair is never washed, they have no activities(although they state they have plenty for them), and the food smells so horrible I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Not to mention she has diabetes and they do not give her the proper care she requires, even though a doctor is reportedly on staff. My grandmother has dementia, but they have taken away her ability to do anything and she often wants to leave or has even talked about killing herself because of how they treat her. We are moving her soon, and will hopefully get the proper care that she needs. This facility needs
