Autumnwood

The level of staff letting patients going to other rooms is beyond me. All patients needs to knock or ask the aid to enter another patients room. My stuff is being stolen such as a cane that's been on my dad's side of the family for over 31 years and been passed down from my grandfather to my dad and to me. That's the only thing physical thing i have that's very sentimental to me for all those years. Losing that is losing the part of me and my dad's side of the family. This i can't simply replace. Therapy on the other hand has have had the equipment to do physical and occupational. They are well better equipped. Staff are very friendly they will work with you over the conditions you are facing. They push you to your limits but within the limits your body is able to.

I'm glad I waited several weeks to post this, but despite the worn appearance of several areas in rooms, Autumnwood earns 5 stars for the friendly, compassionate staff. Call lights are answered promptly. Pain meds are administered, when requested, quickly if within medical orders. Though food is probably nutritious for older adults, I was not fond of the one choice meals, but the staff tried to suggest alternative selections. When you're older are you expected to eat fruit at every meal and drink milk?! Short term rehab or long term resident, the caring, professional staff is at the heart of Autumnwood.

I have been staying at Autumnwood for a week and a half. I could not have picked A better rehabilitation center. The whole staff was so friendly and had my goals in the forefront of their minds. The exercise program was challenging but not too hard. I was able to do things I didn’t know I could do. I told my son if I ever had to go to nursing home I would want to come back to Autumnwood. Thank you team Autumnwood.

My husband is a disabled veteran. And was transferred to autumnwood. He has done so well with the staff and is eating. He is doing therapy and loves to sit at the nurses station.

As the dietary manager I can attest to the fact that because we are solidifying as a team, we are making a positive impact in the resident's lives. We as a department have gone from multiple food complaining to none. When participating in care conferences we hear so many positive comments from residents, families, and caregivers. I want to thank my team and all the members of the interdisciplinary team for making the nutritional staff of Autumnwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center better. We have amazing corporate support that has lead us to becoming a deficiency free department. We have passed all of our sanitation and safety surveys through both the county and the state. Staff, we could not have done this without your hard work and dedication to our resident's. Thank you team. Your hard
