Autumn Lake Healthcare at The Willows

We were so pleased with the care, support and kindness at Autumn Lake! It had this homey feel that made you feel so comfortable! Someone came minutes after hitting the call button and that was a plus! We want to thank all the nurses, aides, assistants, social workers, therapists and general staff for such a great experience!

Thank you so much for your professional & compassionate care! As a family, we were pleasantly surprised at the facility, its cleanliness & the overall friendly environment. We would highly recommend you, most importantly the Long Hill unit. My mother felt safe & cared for at all times. Thank you, again!

I am extremely disappointed and heartbroken with the care my grandmother received at this facility. When I arrived, she was non-responsive, no nurse was present, and they asked us to leave the room because they were ‘changing her’. They only decided to call 911 after I got there. The EMTs who picked her up said that none of the nurses were in the room, and they didn’t have her medical history or chart available. Horrible staffing and lack of attention contributed to her passing — she passed away just one hour later at the hospital. Families entrust this facility with their loved ones, and this level of care is unacceptable

I had a fantastic experience at Autumn Lake Healthcare at The Willows in Woodbridge, CT. The Aides, Nurses, and many other professionals took care of my every need with kindness, warmth, and constant encouragement. The level of compassion they showed truly made my stay more comfortable. A special thanks to the incredible Physical Therapists, whose expertise and patience guided me from being confined to a wheelchair to walking independently with a walker. My mom was there for short term rehab after a fall. The only positive part of the experience was the physical therapy team. They were great! The nurses, the staff (managers included) were uncaring and not attentive. They all say the patients are well taken care of but this is the fourth facility my mother has been too and it is the worse one. Do not put your loved ones here!!
