Austintown Healthcare Center

I cannot say enough about this facility. My father came there in September. He is no longer at this facility. He's home, praise God. I just would like to thank the staff. The admissions director Melissa and they had an aide that was just phenomenal. Her name is Bridget.I would like to say thank you. You know when you have to leave your loved 1 in 1 of these facilities, you don't know exactly what you're going to receive. You don't really know if the care is gonna be good, but this care was excellent. Thank you from the Michelle Colyar and family.

I am here at the facility for rehab care. I have received exceptional care from everyone from nurses to dietary and therapy. But I must admit the Stna Maria is amazing. She always goes above and beyond to make sure all my needs are met. She even comes to my room before I hit my call, light for assistance and always has a welcoming smile. The facility is very lucky to have such a great employee.

Today was the first day I went to this place to see my wife she was just admitted there. I was very impressed. The rooms are more like home with end tables and lamps. And even a dresser. When I first walked in I went to the front desk to find out her room number. A man overheard me saying her name on address so he introduced himself and took me to her room. He was her physical therapist. I watched as he did his job and explained everything he was doing for her. He even said he would bring his little dog in to visit her as she is badly missing her own at home . In my opinion, this place rocks ! ...

Patients are left laying in wet diapers for half the day. This is an everyday occurrence.They restrict patients' water so they won't pee. The food is horrible. This week the patients were served ravioli three times... That's what that horrid blob of goo is. I've been waiting for 20 days for a return call from the social worker and the ambassador/office manager who are never in their office..., they tell you to only leave ONE message on their machine. I caught the social worker in 3 lies outside of 2 minutes. Patient hasn't seen a doctor in a YEAR. I'll be reporting them to the state. Patient "accidents" are not reported to family. Nurses AIDS are neglectful, rude, nasty, and uncaring. Possessions continually go missing, especially phone chargers. Laundry system is a mess, clothing is n

My brother is there for rehab and I can't complain about his care Friendly and helpful staff available at all times. Kudos to the DON Joanne F for leading a great team. Thank you for everything you all do
