Aurora Urgent Care

I was visiting from out of town and took my child in for an ear infection. Since it was late Sunday afternoon/early evening, there wasn't any other urgent care options available that would give us enough time to get a prescription filled at a pharmacy before they closed, if necessary. The doctor we saw was great, no complaints there. But the nearly $400 bill was a surprise. Aurora is in-network with our insurance, but who thinks to check the billing policies of urgent care facilities? Just a heads up, Aurora bills urgent care visits as physician visits, which leads to much higher costs. Plus, since it was our first time at Aurora, our visit was charged as a first office visit, which is usually pricier. 10/28/2025 5:30PM-6pm Max Yet again I was medically dismissed, gaslit, and treated poorly for suspected drug use due to sweating and being unhoused. Aftercare paperwork vastly differs from experience. I was told yes, it's a UTI, you can go now,without any instructions for treatment. Took urine sample, would have gladly submitted to a drug test if asked. Wasn't there for my blood pressure or anxiety as listed. Definitely not treated for it. Blood pressure (Linsopril)!medication was “sent in” at the computer but never showed in my pharmacies history, probably to hide the fact that they intended not to treat the “UtI” that actually is a bladder infection. Absolutely great as far as Urgent Care goes! We've tried a lot of other places, but Aurora is by far the best. They get you in quickly, always friendly, know what they're talking about and get you back out as quickly as possible too. Thank you so much for the consistently great care, it's very much appreciated! 💯🫶

Everyone was great from the girls who checked me in, to the nurse who took my vitals, to the Doctor who attended me. Ps: had a bad sprain and couldn't use my predominant hand, the nurse even peeled my oranges for me before I left :•)

The two receptionists were so friendly & welcoming, the nurse was proficient & had a shining personality, the PA-C Lucas, was great. He was kind, funny, engaging, & took the time to talk to me & my son & gave valuable advice. My son felt comfortable & was smiling during the check-up, even though he was very nervous/weary about going to the hospital to begin with. What a relief. Great job and thank you for a positive experience!
