Aurora Urgent Care

[Update -- 1 week later with the exact same symptoms, another doctor sent me to the ER to rule out a pulmonary embolism with chest scans, blood work, and other tests] I’ve been seen by Dr. Feilbach twice in the last couple years at the Brookfield Aurora Urgent Care. Both times I have left belittled, ashamed, and disgusted at the lack of care, bedside manner, or even just basic respect. Based on myriad doctor rating platforms, Dr. Feilbach appears to have a reputation for making patients feel this way. There are so many other Urgent Care facilities within a reasonable radius — pick a different one — do not go to the Brookfield Aurora Urgent Care. All other staff are great — if I didn’t have to risk seeing this doctor again, I’d happily go back.

Do not go here! Unless you want to be billed as a specialty visit and not an urgent care visit! I spent 35 minutes on the phone with United healthcare arguing with Aurora. Aurora would not budge. This is a perfect example of business fraud, labeling it as an urgent care and then billing it as something different. Instead of the visit costing $75 co-pay, as an urgent care. Aurora is billing me $194.

Beware!!! They advertise as urgent care, but do not bill as urgent care. Your insurance coverage may be different for urgent care than physician visit. $700 mistake for me. They billed $875 for a visit with a Physician Assistant for a sore throat.

Dr. Feilbach really needs to work on his bedside manner. Loudly typing and dismissing my wife isn’t really a way to instill trust that the care you’re providing is correct or genuine.

Old white lady with glasses and pixie haircut (pharmacy department i believe) shouldn’t be allowed to interact with patients. Very passive aggressive.
