Aurora Periodontics and Implant Dentistry

I just went in for my 2 week recheck after osseous surgery on my upper and lower back molars on the right side. I am a worst case scenario person and I was so anxious about this procedure. Wish I hadn't worried so much. it was not that bad. the hardest parts were sitting in a chair for 2 hours but it was actually a painless procedure. Dr Salas and her team are amazing, so concerned they don't cause any discomfort. I took ibuprofen for 3 or 4 days and then I was fine. The liquid soft diet was initially challenging but I found egg whites scrambled, yogurt, pudding,applesauce, luckily I love soup! Okios makes a wonderful protein drink as well. This was well worth it if it helps me keep my teeth!!

Overall, my experience with Aurora Periodontics and Implant Dentistry has been great so far. The staff are friendly and very nice. Dr. Pota Rakes is great and she answered all of my questions prior to my periodontal surgery. Dr. Rakes was helpful and nice through the whole evaluation process to the care provided during my surgery. I was put at ease about everything with my surgery and the level of care provided was outstanding. I would definitely recommend Aurora Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.

This has been a wonderful experience for me from start to finish… The staff is very nice, very knowledgeable, very kind. The office is efficient and is a joy to work with. Dr. Rakes is so friendly and explains everything to you and is so highly skilled!

I came into the office for a procedure and was extremely nervous, as dental visits provoke anxiety. Dr. Salas took the time to explain the procedure in depth, which immediately put me at ease.
