A surreal experience of arrogance and false pride. I went in with chronic pain. I was initially treated with medication. One mother later a 180 transpired. Hannah and Jennifer your team, went out of their way to gaslight me as drug seeking really? Unbelievable . I don’t want their pains meds. I just mentioned to them I didn’t want a false Narrative in my medical records that wasn’t the case. Jennifer Bastis refused, I mentioned to her I will file a complaint with the medical board as well as the ADA. She snarked “ Do what you have to do.” I will and update any other poor soul that deals with this lack of compassion
This might be the worst location I’ve ever dealt with. I had specifically requested expedited testing, and a nurse told me that wasn’t possible. Out of frustration, I called the Braintree location, and they were able to give me the number to the Needham lab, which helped expedite my testing. I received my results within a few hours. Then things got even worse. I received a call from a nurse at this location who gave me incorrect results, even though I could clearly see the correct ones on my patient portal. When I told her she was wrong, she said she would contact my physician to discuss. A nurse providing a patient with the wrong medical information is absolutely unacceptable. Later, I called back for an update since I never received a return call, and this was close to their closing ti
Went here a few weeks ago, because I couldn’t walk due to sciatica.. when I was discharged, my paperwork said “recommended physical therapy.” So I mention to the secretary that I need to have something scheduled and I was told “I can’t do that here, they’ll call you.” I’ve tried to call, only to be put on hold. I’ve also been called by them several times, but each time they were unable to help me. They seem helpful but they’re not EDIT A few hours after this review, I received an erroneous bill for my visit.. I was able to sort this out on the phone… but still no physical therapy appointment. I was called yesterday by the office too, that person was unable to help me or schedule an appointment for P.T.
Dr. Odegaard and everyone else in the office are absolutely incredible. Dr. Odegaard has been my doctor throughout my life, and now she’s my child’s doctor. Dr. Odegaard has incredible bedside manner, and remembers things that I don’t even remember telling her. All her NP’s are great. They do not push pills on you if you don’t need them, and they promote gentle/positive parenting 👏. The person at the front desk is always extremely cheerful and kind (which is rare in healthcare offices). After having a very unpleasant incident during a blood draw at B. Children’s Hospital, I do not trust anyone other than Jamie to draw my son’s blood, he doesn’t even cry, even when he was an infant she was so calming, never had to readjust or poke twice. I’ve been going to Atrius for years and the care and communication gets worse every year. I never have the same PCP each year, as the previous one quits and I get randomly reassigned. It’s also impossible to talk to a human being as all issues are forced through their app, which is horrendous. I’ll be finding a new health care provider soon.
