Atlas Rehabilitation & Healthcare at Daughters of Moses

My mother spent 2 weeks here. I WOULD NEVER recommend this place to anyone. My mom had a terrible experience here. The staff was not that attentive. They waited days to ask if she wanted help with a shower. One nurse said she asked if mom wanted one but that was not the case at all. They also did not get her out of bed for days. She was only out of bed just for pt, and ot. When they did get her in a wheelchair, she'd be in there for hours. Mom would ring for a nurse because she was sitting there for hours. It would take someone a long time to come in to get her back in bed. But that's not even the worst of it! My mom came home with a very bad rash! I know this is due to THEIR NEGLECT! They would leave her wet for a very long time before changing her. She's NEVER had such a rash before!! D

Needs More Activities and Engagement for Residents. The staff may mean well, but this facility desperately needs more engagement and compassion for its residents. Watching my loved one sit around all day with no activities, no real interaction, and little emotional support has been heartbreaking. It feels like this place is slowly taking the life out of her. Seniors need stimulation, attention, and care not just to be fed and left in a chair. They aren’t dead; they’re still here, still human, and still deserving of joy, conversation, and dignity. Other places, like adult day care centers, do a great job of involving seniors in crafts, music, games, or even light exercise. Something like that would make a huge difference here. We decided on Daughters of Miriam as a rehab facility for our mother at the recommendation of the hospital's case manager and because of the proximity to her home, and we are not regretting it! Everyone is doing a great job caring for her and working hard to get her to the point where she is ready to go home. From the doctors, nurses, nurse assistants, nurse managers, physical and occupational therapists, cleaning personnel, to admin and social workers everyone is very nice and competent. Thank you for the work you are doing!

My 3rd floor nurses Were amazing to me always and always took the best care of me! Concierge has always been there for me! And rehab did an unbelievable job and gave me a certificate in the end showing my great achievements! I would recommend this facility!!

I had a wonderful experience at the rehab, the cna's were very nice and helpful. And therapy was fabulous with me- they really turned me around. Would very much recommend this facility.
