AtlantiCare Urgent Care Barnegat

Today I went to this office because I was experiencing constant sneezing, severe congestion, and body aches. When I finally saw the doctor (Rosalia), the appointment felt extremely rushed. I was in the room for less than a minute, and I did not feel like she truly listened to what I was trying to explain about my symptoms. Before I could fully speak, I was prescribed five different medications and sent on my way. After getting home, my wife—who works in the healthcare field—reviewed the prescriptions and explained that only one or two of them were actually necessary. The rest did not seem appropriate for my symptoms. I ended up spending about $75 on medications that I didn’t truly need. I left this visit feeling unheard and disappointed. I never leave reviews, but I feel this one is much needed especially for people who have legitimate issues!! I myself work in the medical field and the way my husband was profiled by Lynn the “receptionist” was very unprofessional and just down right ignorant!! He told her he’s been there before for a back injury and he received a steroid as he’s speaking she’s shaking her head no! She was instantly judgemental , she claimed to have spoken to the doctor but never left her little cubicle the doctor said they only have Motrin she claimed, he’s not seeking PAIN MEDS Last time I checked physicians can write prescriptions for anti inflammatories and steroids which have been prescribed for him before by this place , not pain meds, I get it pain seekers are everywhere, he is NOT one of them!! Had a good experience at the Urgent Care today. I had a Sinus infection - within an hour I was in an out after seeing the doctor with a prescription. Thank you

My experience at urgent care today was very pleasant. The secretary was very nice and very efficient. She treated me with care and clearly knew what she was doing. . Also the nurse and Doctor were very nice and attentive to how I was feeling. The X-ray technician was so nice and caring as well. This was my first time at this location in BARNEGAT and I will definitely be back because of the level of professionalism by the entire staff. This location was so clean too! I was not feeling well and being at urgent care today made me feel better and I got the necessary medicine that I needed right away. The doctor sent my prescription to the pharmacy immediately. Thank you again!!! I appreciate it! One more thing, the radiologist called me right away, that’s a huge plus. Thank you!!!

I had all the symptoms of a UTI & the Doc said there were only a small amount of bacteria & no infection. Despite all the symptoms, the doctor did not prescribe an antibiotic. My symptoms worsened, I went to another Urgent Care in 2 weeks in which an antibiotic was prescribed and my symptoms cleared up. I had to suffer two more weeks due to the failure of the doctor listening to me & failure to provide the appropriate treatment. I will not be returning to this facility. I just do not trust the diagnostician at this facility, as I was just advised to see a Specialist. Even a small amount of bacteria with multiple symptoms, indicates an infection.
