Had an elderly family member stay here two nights/three days after shoulder surgery. Staff was HORRIBLE! When she spoke to the visiting doctor about the lack of assistance ,care and knowledge from the staff,he said " that's why we want you to go home the same day as your surgery" it was as if the staff here was pretending. Visually appearing to be in the medical field but as soon as they had to actually do something a nurse would do,they either didn't bother or completely screwed it up. Pushing the button for help physically getting off the toilet or getting out of bed, didn't show up. Used a broken nebulizer on her( she has asthma) she pointed out how it wasn't doing anything and she wasn't feeling better and they kept giving her this broken thing.4 times in 2 days. Finally a doctor came

I used to think this hospital was nice, years ago, but they have seemingly forgotten why they are here and the fact that they are to do their patients no harm. This morning, 𝗔𝗧𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥, 𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗨𝗦 has discharged my mother, but there is 𝗡𝗢 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘, 𝗬𝗘𝗧, which means that she cannot leave until something becomes available. Now, I am also trying to get to work, since there is nothing that I can do here. The hospital cannot say, for sure what time transport will be here (especially when actual pick-ups are often HOURS after the scheduled time), but they are 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 to call 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗘, even though there is no guarantee of time, 𝗜𝗙 𝗜 𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗬 𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗢 𝗧𝗢 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 (though I have given my contact information and told them where I will

After a major hip replacement revision, I am staying in this hospital. Due to my medical history, I have been in alot of medical enviornments.. by far, this hospital is THE BEST. From the staff to cleanliness, to the floor doctors, PT, and the food. Fourth floor nurses and aids are so caring and on top of everything. If I could give 1000 stars, I would. A shout out to Dr. PONIZO, FROM ROTHMAN! She is so down to earth and a wonderful surgeon prof3ssionql and sh3 LISTENS.. Her staff is also wonderfuL, HER PAs Michael and Anthony are super! Alot of doctors and hospitals should model thier protocols and compliance after this hospital and their doctors and staff! Thank you Atlantic Care and Dr Ponzio for giving my mobility back, hence my life!

My father stayed here for over a week and his care was excellent. He started in the ICU for about four days and then was transferred up to the fourth floor cardiac unit. Everyone that he, my mother, and I came into contact with was professional, kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Both rooms that he was in were well-maintained and clean. We knew that he was in excellent hands at the Mainland campus and have only wonderful things to say. We are very lucky to have such a fabulous hospital so close by.

The hospital is nice and most of the staff are great but the maternal fetal medicine rules need to change for patients who want and need the proper care but can’t get childcare. To be turned away because of lack of childcare is insane and super stressful. They make no exceptions and knowing that I may be denied care when I live about a hour away is terrible. Then they call me to reschedule my appointment for their staff meeting convenience That is ironic. Refusing to work with a patient but expecting the patient to accommodate them is wrong in so many ways I’m not the only one who is in this situation and I am looking into petitioning this. I believe that working with the patients would be less detrimental to the woman and unborn baby then turning them away right out.
