I will no longer be Dr. Botros’s patient. During my initial visit, I supplied results for 21 urinalysis reflexes, 23 cultures, and 26 specialist notes, something above and beyond that most patient do not do. After a few visits, when I called over the phone, she refused to acknowledge the recurring UTIs, despite multiple doctors confirming the diagnosis. Came for a second opinion after original diagnosis of IC. Doctor was beyond frustrated. Placed a catheter without any informed consent whatsoever while a male medical student was in the room. Bedside manner was atrocious, and it’s horrific that patients would be subjected to completely unnecessary and uninformed procedures to rack up the bill.

She told me she’d ask the doctor but came back when the doctor was in an appointment. I said well if she’s in an appointment I likely would’ve been waiting and she said that’s not the point, she’s very strict and has surgery (so my appointment that I waited over two months for was planned to be 30 minutes? she was with another patient who must have had an appointment) When I explained this to her she simply repeated their
