I visited here in the middle of the night with my 3 day old kitten. Everyone was so nice and eager to help. They made me feel so at ease & got us in & out quickly. My baby Taz had a severe burn on his back from the heating pad. The Vet was very gentle when she advised the prognosis was not good. They gave me detailed instructions on how to treat it & gave me all the medice & supplies I would need. I left sad but hopeful. Fast forward to current day....Taz is 6 weeks old & so feisty & playful. He has a small scar but he is 100% healthy & happy. If it wasn't for the 2am staff on that Sunday evening I don't know what I would have done. Thank you all so much!!!

We were referred to Atlantic Coast Vet by another ER vet after our 15 year old Husky mix started to lose feeling on his back legs. We contacted the office and were given a same day appointment with Dr. Lopez, Kristi and the neurology team. They were amazing! They made me feel better about my baby’s prognosis. Unfortunately, he was rapidly declining and was losing all movement on his back legs, so we decided it was best to let him rest. We went back to the office but this time for the ER since it was after hours. The doctor was thorough, gave us all our options and was supportive of our decision. The ER team was also amazing, they gave us privacy and space for us to mourn. We never felt rushed and I felt comfortable leaving my pup in their hands and knew that they would take care of him aft

Atlantic Coast Vet saved my dog. We discovered a lump on her neck and took her to her primary vet the next day. They did a needle aspiration but told us it was most likely cancer. It took over a week for the results and in that time the lump grew aggressively. When we got the results we were told the test didn't find cancer but they still thought it was cancer. We took her to Atlantic Coast vet for more testing and they scheduled a biopsy and drainage. When the lump got so big that it was interfering with her breathing, Dr. Lesser came in on his day off and did the surgery that same day. We were prepared to say goodbye to our sweet dog, but Dr. Lesser advocated for her and worked really hard to give her the best chance possible. It wasn't cancer. It was a terrible infection. So I recently had the unfortunate experience of having to take one of my beloved puppies to this awful hospital. I had called prior to getting there and letting them know that my dog had just been bitten by another dog. Upon arrival we were told we had to wait, which is not a problem, we filled out the necessary forms. After filling out the forms, we sat and waited a few minutes for a vet. We were told we could go back in the exam room with her when they come back for her, but then someone came out shortly after that conversation and just took her in the back where we couldn't see her or be with her. They flushed out the wound (never shaved it or looked further into it), didn't give her an anti-inflammatory and then allowed my baby girl to come home with her face the size of a grapefruit.

A friend/customer recommended Atlantic coast veterinary specialists to me because my English bulldog needed to see a dermatologist about her ongoing ear infection. I walked in with my dog who was very nervous but also very dramatic lol. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional. We met with Dr. Norma White-Weithers and her assistant Fiona. They’re both very friendly and Dr. Norma is very knowledgeable. I asked several questions regarding my dog's medical condition and about the doctors experience with this particular condition, She didn’t just hand me a pamphlet with meds and send my dog and I home. Dr. Norma was very thorough with the examination. We went over a game plan to try and fix the problem. Before we left my dog was given some treats and butt scratches and of cour
