I can't recommend Dr. Malernee at Atlantic Animal Hospital in Delray Beach, Florida, highly enough! With his gentle, old-school approach to veterinary medicine, he creates a warm and inviting environment for both pets and owners. The consultations take place right at the main entrance typically on the floor, making the whole experience non-threatening for our furry friends. This is beneficial for my Aussie as he often gets nervous and nippy in clinical metal tabletop up and down standard vet situations. Dr. Malernee successfully resolved my dog Bingo's ear hematoma non-surgically, demonstrating his extensive experience and dedication. His prices are fair, appointments are easy to schedule, and there are no long wait times. We're thrilled to have found our primary vet in Delray!

Dr. Malernee is an excellent diagnostician and vet! He has such a gentle way about him that my very shy dog 🐕, Zoe, doesn’t cower in fear and even comes out from under the chairs. He doesn’t order unnecessary bloodwork and he really knows what is best for my baby. Thank you!

Dr. Malernee is by far the best vet I have ever gone to. I would call him your small town country vet who knows more about animals than any vet I know. I love that he sits with my dog on the floor (on his level) and really relates to him. He takes the time to explain things to you. He really cares about the animal, not the money! So rare these days. I highly recommend him!!!

I just went to the Atlantic animal hospital and tried to get help for a baby possum that I found outside. I did not have the time to take him to animal control and was simply asking if they could take the animal and help him get to the proper facilities because I needed to go to work. The doctor came to the door of the facility, said “I don’t treat possums, good luck” said I needed to take him to animal control animal control. I said “so you guys don’t care to make sure that this baby possum is safe?” And he closed and locked the door in my face. Poor customer service skills and they don’t care about animals unless it’s a cat or dog. How can they even call themselves veterinarians?

I absolutely love the Dr. He has seen my dog from the age of 4weeks old until she died at 14 years old. The puppy Venus is my new doggie. Added picture of Serena who he saw from 4 weeks to 14 years old
