Aspire Senior Living Oak Grove

My mother has had excellent care at Aspire Senior Living of Oak Grove. The staff is attentive, caring and kind. The activities director does an outstanding job of providing engaging and different activities for the residents on a consistent basis. Mom’s room is kept clean and all staff treat her with respect and kindness. My family and I are grateful to Aspire for the care they provide for my mom! The facilities are older but it is easy to look past that with the level of care and cleanliness the Aspire staff provide to their residents.

Despite what other reviews have said, I have had a perfect relationship with this care facility.From admitting my father with dementia until his final days, they have been nothing but perfect for my family and I. They took care of my dad like he was their own family member. Hands down the best place for dad to be in his final days. If I had to choose a place again for any family or friends I would definitely pick Aspire in Oak Grove. Thank you to all staff. You guys are awesome

I have an aunt that has the misfortune of calling this her home. It’s very dirty, it smells like old feces and urine which has a very ammonia like smell. There’s always call lights going off for the entire duration of my visit when I’m there. The director of nursing is very rude and stuck up don’t ask her for help. This place is a sham and a half! My aunt has been left in a gown sitting by the shower door for hours only to not get her shower. She’s had issues with bed bugs that the facility “resolved”. Cnas that refuse to get her up because she needs the person lift. If there is staff that cares then they run the good staff off. Which does make sense. Too many residents and not enough true advocates working here. If insurance would let us we would pull my aunt. Please don’t put your family

I only give this place one star because I have to in order to leave a review. We placed our mother at this facility on an emergency basis and with a recommendation from Beacon of Hope Hospice. Worst decision EVER! Our mother's room and bathroom were disgusting! The facility didn't offer to do anything about the issue so we cleaned her room and bathroom ourselves, brought in her own bedding as well as curtains. Found the glass in her window was broken and would not lock, on the memory care wing. Shards of glass were removed by us, not housekeeping or maintenance. Doors were supposed to be secured so the patients on the memory care wing couldn't get out. Our mother got out 4 times, getting to the privacy fence and climbing up half way up it before staff realized she was missing. And then the

It is not a new facility, but the staff have been absolutely amazing, especially in the memory care. I wouldn't judge it by it's looks, but any facility is only as good as the staff working in it and their staff is consistent and caring. Not a new face every day like other places. We have had 2 loved ones here. I still recommend it.
