Aspen Dental - West Des Moines, IA - Galleria

I was a patient in January and the service was good. I was happy with the results. However, after we paid the agreed price in full, one month later, it transpired that we still owed $159. I do not recommend this dental practice because the amount they predict the insurance will pay is artificially high. The things the insurance company did not cover should not have been a surprise for Aspen Dental. The lasting impression is that they are purposefully quoting a lower price than what patients ultimately have to pay.

I never write reviews but I truly feel like other people should be warned about this place based on my experience at the WDM location today. I got an appointment same day- which was nice! I am having serious pain and swelling in a small area in my gums. It took about 30-40 mins for x rays. It was very uncomfortable and caused a lot of pain and swelling but the two people that did the x rays were nice throughout. They take me to another room where a different dental hygienist “ checks my gum health” by scraping a tool individually under the gums on each tooth, front and back. This was horribly painful because I was there for a gum swelling and pain issue. My mouth is now horribly inflamed, painful, and bleeding. They don’t rinse my mouth- they just start asking me questions as I’m bleedin

The dentist was AMAZING! So nice and listened. The girl taking x- rays was great. Explained everything she was doing. The male dental hygienist was not the kindest. He was efficient and did his job, but I explained I don't like dental offices and actually have somewhat of a phobia. He did not acknowledge that i had said anything. He was NOT gentle, he hurt ten times worse than the dentist extracting a molar. The office manager was nice and explained everything, listened and answered all questions. Cut out the hygienist and definitely would have been 5 stars

Best dentist in iowa! I went here for an adjustment on my dentures. The dentist did an extraordinary job on the adjustment and told me somethings I did not know about my dentures. Me and my husband have been to many dentist over the years 🙃 we always left other dentist not feeling satisfied with their work. Which always felt like a waste of money! Not here! I have never been more satisfied with not just the dentist but the staff are swift, caring, and kind! This will be my families life long dentist. 😊 TY Aspen dental!

I came in today to do a check up, the team was very nice and professional. I haven’t been to the dentist in a long time so I was a bit nervous to come in and feel judged and they did just the opposite. I would recommend Aspen Dental to anyone!
