I have struggled with dental anxiety for years, to the point where I would put off dentist appointments. From the very first visit Dr. Mousa was very understanding and took the time to listen. During my fillings and crown prep she made sure I was comfortable and not getting overwhelmed. If you struggle with dental anxiety I HIGHLY recommend Dr Mousa. She goes above and beyond for her patients. Another really great employee is Sam! She took the time to breakdown the treatment plan, showed me what my insurance covered and how much I had to pay out of pocket. She explained all the different options they have to pay for your treatment. She truly cares about patients and wants them to have the best experience. All of the dental hygienists were amazing too! A nice, clean facility. Exceptional group of employees, including front desk, admin, and medical staff. No long waits to be seen and expeditious treatment. Price was explained in advance and was reasonable. I used to go to Affordable Dentures until five years ago when I discovered a very nice Aspen Dental in Norfolk Virginia. Now that I live in Mt Peasant I find the office here beats the Norfolk office in customer service.

I was hesitant of going here because I read several bad reviews online, but I went anyway and I’m so glad I did! The staff here is so friendly and patient. I was super nervous about going because my teeth need a lot of work but I actually felt at ease while I was there (which is saying something for me!). I was able to get a treatment plan worked out and qualify for enough financing to get what I really wanted. And I didn’t have to pay anything day of which was nice, especially since I don’t have insurance. Aspen Dental has made this scary experience a great one.Oh, and special shoutout to Samantha, the office manager, who is amazing and truly cares about people. I will be going back. Definitely.

Today it was a different story. A very nice young lady who used to work as a receptionist has since been promoted and took immediate care of me when I walked into the office. She sent my entire health record and X-rays to my new dentist. I have upped the rating to 4 stars now. Last week I wrote and gave a 2-star rating: Cannot say I was very pleased with customer service. Also billing department refused to send me an itemized bill. I suspected bill padding but cannot prove. Word to folks, keep a hawk eye on how they bill for services. Transferring out to another local dental office. When I asked for my X-rays to be transferred, it became a red-tape pain.
