I saw Dr. Rawls on March 15, 2024 after driving six hours with my mom, hoping for thorough care. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing and felt negligent. She took over a month to enter the notes from my visit and failed to order any of the referrals she promised — including genetic counseling, an updated MRI, a DAT scan renewal, and a neuropsychological assessment. Despite my MRI showing an absent swallow tail sign and white matter lesions, and having been on levodopa for 3 years for Parkinsonism, she dismissed the medication as likely a placebo. I have a condition that not many doctors are knowledgeable about. Dr. Rawls is the first doctor I’ve seen in my 14 years of having it that actually understands how awful my symptoms are and therefore knows the correct way to treat it. I’ve had other doctors actually ask me how to treat my condition because I know far more about it than they do. She is always so kind and compassionate and listens to everything I have to say. I never feel rushed or unheard. My condition got so bad a few years ago that I was getting maybe three to four of sleep every night for about two years. By the time I found her I was exhausted, physically and mentally drained, having sometimes almost 24/7 and suicidal because I couldn’t take it anymore. Dr. Rawls quite literally saved my life and I will never be able to

There’s a reason this doctor has no reviews. You as the reviewed can pay Google to remove negative reviews fyi. Why are there no positive? Do your research before giving her any information. She will ruin your entire UF Health experience.
