Ashley Pediatrics Day And Night Clinic

I do not recommend this clinic at all, especially Nurse Practitioner Raquela Torres. She does not have the empathy or the patience to work with kids, she should not be in a pediatrics clinic. My twin boys both have autism and she was very dismissive of them when one of my boys asked her a question. She doesn't take the time to make them feel at ease and doesn't take the time to really check what is going on with them. My last visit with her one of my boys tried to ask her a question and her response was that she didn't repeat herself, she was very rude and just had a bad experience with her.

There is a lady in the front by the name of María and she is rude. I didn’t get the girls name but she is pregnant and is also rude rolled her eyes at me. I came into the office since 9 am my son has croup cough and it’s 12:16 pm and I’m sitting in the lobby still waiting for a prescription from the provider. How is this even possible for a provider to take this long to give me a prescription to get the medication my son needs. Maria told me they have no control over the prescription I told her okay so I left the drs office headed to the pharmacy and waited an hour and got down and still no prescription was sent. I came back to the office to ask for written prescription and they have me waiting that because the provider is busy with other patients and the lobby is empty and the parking lot

I am absolutely happy I switched doctors! Dr and staff are great with my kids :) and Dr. Gonzalez always explains everything to the tea and she’s determined to find out what wrong with my child and helps him/her get better ❤️‍🩹

All the staff are professional and kind. I bring my kids for their PE, vaccines, and when they are sick. I always come with Dr. Johana Gonzalez, and by the way, she is super awesome! Also, my sister brings her daughter with her too. I want to highlight the lady from the front office Maria, she is always nice and very helpful everytime I call. Ashley Pediatric in 220 S Conway Ave in Mission, rocks! 😊

I am updating my review to a very bad one. Nurse Practitioner Raquela Torres is the worst and should not be a pediatrics practitioner at all. My daughter is very scared of nurses and doctors in general so when I took her in today for a stomach virus she was extra upset and feeling very sick, she wouldn’t let this lady check her mouth so my daughter bit down on the wooden stick they use to push their tongue down, this lady shook my daughter’s head to pull out the stick and screamed at her, if she is going to be losing her patience with kids why is she practicing in a pediatrics clinic! I am very upset about this. She should be fired! PA Johanna Gonzalez was way better, Ashley Pediatrics you lost a great PA and hired a terrible NP.
