My husband and I had our yearly skin check with Dr. Higgins and received excellent care from the moment. Someone answered the phone, the nurse preparing us to see the doctor and the care we each received by Dr. Higgins herself. She was thorough, professional, and compassionate. We left feeling well cared for and well informed. We will remain with this practice. I then needed a spot looked at that popped up before our next appointment. I saw Alexandra Wright, PA – C. I was very pleased with her care and explanations for what was being done, what Rx would be sent to my pharmacy and what I would need to do when I got home. All in all, this is a GREAT team of professionals for dermatological care. I’m so glad we found Asheville Dermatology Professionals.

My first experience with Dr. Higgins could not have been better. She is extremely knowledgeable and, for the first visit, very efficient. I was duly and truly impressed! My second visit was quite problematic for me. I arrived to an empty waiting room, was immediately escorted to a patient consult room where I was instructed to strip down to my underwear and put on a paper robe. Not a problem at all until my wait stretched on for over an hour. I do understand that doctors can encounter situations that require more of their time than usual but the wait was not the problem. The problem was that the room I sat in for all that time felt like a meat freezer....temps approaching sub-zero---or so it seemed. I was turning blue. Everyone in this office are so friendly and nice. The lady we saw was the best doctor ever. She talked to us like we were real people, and the assistant she had with her was super also. I brought my precious little friend in, and she loved the people there also. This place is simply amazing! 10 stars is what i would give them if I could.

I always feel welcome in the office. The staff are friendly and professional. I appreciate that they introduce themselves. Dr Higgins makes me feel comfortable as she is examining me. I highly recommend this office.

Dr Higgins is that rare combination of sunshine on a rainy day, BFF, professionalism and a wealth of knowledge all rolled up into an amazing dermatologist! I love seeing her. I would make up skin issues just to make an appointment 🤣. Love love love her!
