Ascension Via Christi Immediate Care on Murdock

We love this place. Easy in, easy out, and more often than not they are quick in and quick out with thorough care. However, they need BETTER thermometers! In a company this size, thermometers of all kinds should be available for the nursing staff to have access to. The poor nurse and my poor baby tried for dang near 5 whole minutes to get a temp reading. Ascension, Via Christi, y'all need to get the nurses better basic equipment!

Truly was soooo happy. I went in , give urine, take back to private room, within 15 minutes nurse practitioner came in and assessed me. She was so professional and knowledgeable. UTI medicine give for me. Feeling better. In and out less one hour. Very impressive. Thank you

This is my urgent care of choice! I’ve been here numerous times for flu, viral illnesses I thought were flu that weren’t, stomach flu, and migraines. They are very efficient at getting you in and out with the care and medication you need. I’ve gotten Tamiflu for flu, Zofran for vomiting, and shots for migraines at different times. They have their own pharmacy if you’re feeling icky and want to leave with your medicine instead of driving to your pharmacy to get it. I LOVE the convenient online scheduling. They have good hours of operation, and I’ve never had trouble finding an open appointment time the same day I look and want to go. Booking online has made wait time when I arrive very fast. Everyone has been very kind and caring from the front desk checkin to the nurses getting vitals and

I went in and waited maybe 15 mins before being checked in by the nurse to seeing the doctor. Everyone was so polite and kind. I went in with nerve pain and the staff was just amazing and the doctor was top notch. I would definitely be going back if my doctors office is closed.

Came in with possible bruised ribs. Admitting nurse was very kind and thorough. Brought all the medication that I was on. Explain to them the pain issue and then I was also on Pain medication for my back. X-rayed my ribs. No brakes or fractures. The PA that helped me did not seem very interested in the situation. Did not listen to my chest or my heart. Did not really have a good explanation or course of treatment other than going to the ER . A CT was recommended by the x-ray tech and asked how to go about doing that.Due to the fact that with bruised ribs, you can develop pneumonia. Ask about additional pain medication, Due to the fact that I’ve been doubling up on the medication for my back because of the rib pain.
