Ascension St. Vincent's Endocrinology - Orange Park

I am very impressed the staff and Dr. Nelson were very polite and outgoing. The staff made me feel very comfortable. The office was very clean very professional. The guy that came in there and took care of me with a curly long hair. I love his hair was very impressive. Very nice. I wish I would remember his name but with Dr. Nelson come in she was very thorough. he answered every question that I had so I’m very impressed thank you very much and this location was an Fleming Island

After reading all the negativity, I wanted to share a positive experience. I just transferred from Nemours to Dr. Hassan and had my first visit. I have anxiety and was very nervous about an unfamiliar doctor, but she and the entire office staff made me feel very comfortable. The mean lady the comments talk about isn't there anymore and they have a new manager. The doctor worked hard to make sure I understood everything, took the time to teach me about my condition and how I can address some of my concerns. She also educated me on my treatment options so I had a voice in my treatment plan. Great experience all around.

I have had great care with the Ascension Medical Group. I have seen quite a few doctors and PA''s through St. Vincent's for a number of years and my care has always been Top Notch. Thank you for the quality care I have received and the professionals you employ.

Tried to call as a self pay patient as I don’t carry insurance. The list of issues goes on as to why I choose to go straight to the “specialist” but the office refuses to schedule without labs. Why as a provider would you not schedule your own labs and take care of the patient but instead you require going through another provider to assist vs doing an evaluation and ordering what you all need. Not a great way to do business and makes zero sense how you are choosing to handle patients.

Dr Hassen seemed to have no desire to understand her clients concerns nor did she seem at all compassionate to help meet me where I was in the situation. She came across as umempathetic and in compassionate. I do not recommend any man seeking help to improve their lives to see this doctor.
