Ascension St. Vincent Evansville - Emergency

I laid in the bed for 3-3 1/2 hours..The alarm on my BP going off pretty much the whole time because my BP was 248/109..I saw the doctor very little. No tests were ran. He released me stating with a bp of 209/99. He stated that I'm used to high BP and I should be ok. The doctors office was amazing. But,your ER was anything but. I could tell my condition was of no concern to them.

This is the best ER I’ve ever been to and the only one where I can say it was a pleasure to visit. Everyone was so good at listening to my concerns. They got me meds to feel better very quickly, got me a CT scan, and gave me very clear instructions for what to do next. Audrey was an especially awesome nurse. She was so efficient, did a perfect IV that caused me no pain, and she knew how to get me laughing after having some of the worst few days ever. This ER should be the standard. Keep up the great work!

We always have the best care team at Ascension Peds ER. Our toddler came down with a nasty, viral sickness and we had to stay in the ER for about 8 hours. The care team, nurses and NP, were amazing. They made her laugh and played with her on the unit to get her spirits back up and were so kind to her when she was feeling so badly.

Dr. Godwin and my daughters nurse Madi were ABSOLUTELY phenomenal helping my baby. They were so friendly and fun despite the circumstances. Dr. Godwin did a fantastic job on her stitches and keep her pain managed and Madi was great cleaning her up, reassuring her etc and getting us on our way as quickly as possible! Thank you so much again and this is probably the ONLY ER in Evansville I don’t have issues with.

Literally the best hospital for an emergency! I trust them completely. Race, orientation, or size friendly. Very accommodating, and willing to work with time frames. Was just an awesome care facility. I felt cared about, I was important when I was there! Coolest thing my nurses twin was also a nurse there. The doctor was so compassionate and understood. The IV one time stick no PAIN! These people know what they are doing. Your comfort matters, so does your time. You really are a first priority.
