Ascension Seton Williamson Emergency

The Dr I saw that night 12-20 was young and a little rude, he was explaining things to me after my car accident and with me being in shock I wanted to write things on my phone soi wouldn’t forget and he rudely said something like are you paying attention or something I don’t remember I was just slammed into … concussion fractured ribs and he could of been a little nicer:/ I do however remember Mr Dunkin being a phenomenal nurse and took very good care of me explaining things to me with empathy, patience and care, I did appreciate him tremendously thank you Mr Dunkin!! Only reason I remember his name is because I thought of coffee at the time he said his name so thank you sir!!! <3

The PA and staff were great except the nurse that took care of my daughter. First she didn’t introduce herself. She didn’t explain anything that was happening/or she was needing to get from my daughter, I had to ask questions and then she acted as if I automatically knew what she was talking about. She was rough putting IV in and taking it out. Not the best experience for my daughter who was not feeling well.

WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE HOSPITAL THERE WAS NO SIGNAGE DIRECTING ME TO THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE HOSPITAL. I WENT TO THE FRONT DOOR. IT WAS LOCKED. I KNOCKED ON THE DOOR BUT NOONE CAME. ABOUT THAT TIME AN EMP.OYEE CAME OUT.. I TOLD HIM I NEEDED THE ER. He very kindly took my bag and walked me through to the ER. In the ER, I got checked in quickly and put in a room. The nurses that came in were exceptionally nice. Took my vitals and put a shunt in my arm. Everyone who came to take me to CT, MRI and Xray were very kind. After the diagnosis of a fractured spine, I was taken to the 4th floor where I got settled into Room 430. The trauma team came to do an assessment. About 915 a.m. a breakfast tray was brought to me. Eggs, bacon and a bisquit. The food was very good. I am very Impressed with the kin

Thankful that the ambulance safely arrived. She was quickly admitted to ER late Friday night. Able to be in an ER room over night waiting for a room to open upstairs. Fifth floor staff and Drs were very helpful and kind taking our calls thru the ice storm. Very pleased with her care.

I normally love coming to this hospital/ ER. I even had my baby here. Lately in the ER they arent worried about patient care, they are just worried about getting people out quickly. They didnt even wait for my test results before they prescribed me meds and sent me on my way. I couldn't even take the meds they prescribed me because I am nursing. That was a waste of my time and money
