Appointment was timely and specific with the aspects of the visit. Dr. Madison was very engaging and informative about additional procedures to monitor heart valve issues.

Dr Jackson and the nurses were very attentive and took great care of me! They had their hands full but still made sure to check on me and keep me informed!

I went to the ER around 1 a.m. today for neck pain. I normally would ignore it thinking it’s a pulled muscle but I’m pregnant so everything is more important to me. Anyways I brought my husband and baby in with me. We were the only people there and waited for the dr for like 20 minutes, which isn’t long at all. BUT I could see him sitting in a chair on his phone in the hall a few feet away from me. He finally walks in and doesn’t even introduce himself as a Dr. Or even say his name. He sees my daughter in my lap and starts touching her foot. Like hasn’t even said a word yet, just went straight for her foot and she was obviously squirmy and uncomfortable about it. This is the most negligent hospital I've ever encountered. I'd imagine every long time Waverly resident has at least one horror story about this place. Just a few years ago, a friend's father was sent home while having severe chest pain. He died a few hours later. In another case, a friend's mother had a severe infection in her finger that had changed the color of the appendage. Again, sent home. Luckily in that case, she was able to travel to Dickson where they were able to save the finger. Now as recently as this week, my grandmother was unconscious with a serious case of pneumonia, and when her monitor showed she was in the red, where do you think the staff were? Had to take a 5 yr old in for a dog bite on the back of his head Excessive bleeding and a freaked out crying kiddo. ZERO compassion from the doctor. Gave 2 stars because the other staff was very nice I could hear other patients needing assistance down the hallway. I realize Dr Dotson is not a pediatric doc but describing what is to come in front of the child and telling us we would be waiting quite some time simply because of the day and time ummm NO we don’t get the opportunity to schedule emergencies!! We left and drove to Franklin where we were met with efficiency and compassion
