Ascension Rx - Alexian Brothers Pharmacy

I enjoy coming to Alexian B Brothers Pharmacy because everyone there is so friendly patient and kind and even though it’s outpatient services, Nicholas always have assisted me even when I get lost traveling here because my driver left me because my appointment ran later. Nicholas was able to tell me to get home the directions the road to take, he took time out of his job to tell me and to reroute me and to set up my MapQuest to show me how to get home all the way back to the south side of Chicago I was so amazed that he had time to do that. He is such a peaceful patient person while he works. The pharmacy and his pharmacy is always busy. I’m so thankful and grateful That there’s no robots taking care of the public. It’s nothing like a friendly face. That’s always greeted me when I come to

0 stars if possible. Incompetent liars. My disabled mother was told a medication wasn’t covered in the liquid form but MIGHT be covered in the pill form. The liquid was $200. The manager NEVER stated “they won’t pay for this type of medication at all, or that it would $68.” So I go to pick it up, the tech already has an attitude-clear as day she hates her life. She blurts out “We have a problem here.” I ask her “what is the problem.” She rudely and only responds “PAYMENT.” I then tell her how my mom and the pharmacist were working on this for days now and I had thought there was no charge. The conversation is clearly TOO much for her so she scans a badge types and code in and hands me the prescription. DAYS LATER the manager calls back and LIES about the conversation she had with my mother

I have gone to this pharmacy for the past fifteen years. I always feel so lucky to have such a compassionate team looking out for me. They explain my meds and tell me how best to take them. Every single person who works here is so kind, caring and considerate. Love you all!

This pharmacy used to be wonderful. Ever since Dahlia retired the new manager is so rude and short on the phone, and always sounds annoyed! I wish I could go elsewhere for my medications because the thought of calling about my medications or eve asking questions related to a new prescription makes me feel incredibly anxious thinking about the guy answering and being condescending or short to me.

I cannot say enough about the outpatient pharmacy at Alexian. Nicholas, Lauren, Somali!!! Always courteous, on time, go above and beyond!!! Honestly they are amazing. Can’t imagine going anywhere else ever!
