Asbury Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

I can't begin to express how greatful I am for the care and love that was provided at Asbury Park. This facility has staff that show true compassion for their residents. The nurses were polite and caring and the management was always around when I had a question or needed support. People are always smiling and I really enjoyed the time I spent. Now that I am back home and recovered I actually miss being there at times. Thank you for all that you did for me Asbury Park Team.

After our father suffered a stroke, Kaiser provided us with a list of facilities that could accept him, after touring several of them, which some truly disappointing, we are grateful we chose Asbury Park. The staff was carrying and attentive. the clinical Director, Jinky gave me her personal number and was always available to answer questions and guide us. Therapy team was great. They pushed Dad in the best way to be able to get him back home to all the staff at Asbury Park thank you for what you do every day you made a difficult time for our family much easier and we are very grateful!

This place is terrible. My uncle was here and they did nothing for him. It was impossible to talk to anyone who knew what was going on. He had a catheter and he kept getting UTIs because they didn’t keep him clean. He was taken back to the hospital because they couldn’t keep him healthy. When we went back to get his belongings they had lost everything. Sentimental items that can’t be replaced (stuffed animals my daughter left him to make him feel better) and his tablet and water bottle. All they had was his clothes. How convenient. PLEASE don’t let a family member stay here.

Spent sometime with this facility. Wouldn't highly recommend it. I guess because it is Medicare and Medicaid approved.Most of the of the rooms are 3 patients. When you first arrive there, they give you a room to your self. Less than 24hrs later, they give the boot. Was placed in a room with 2 other patients . A couple days later, one woman passed away. I was in the middle,so it was traumating to me to see the staff remove her in a body bag. She should have been in a room to herself..

Eight months ago my mother was sent to your facility. I had the pleasure to meet Lucy Zepeda in the business office shortly thereafter. Without her help I don't know what I would have done. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty in helping me fill out and apply for services and dealing with mom's long term care provider with whom I was at my wits ends. Only because of Lucys persistence with phone calls and duplicate paperwork, they finally paid. I'm so grateful to her. Your staff is friendly and caring. Michelle was so wonderful with mom. She took a special liking to her and our entire family. She always had a big smile on her face and warm hugs for all.
