Dr. Kumari was amazing. When she left they put this terrible Dr. Virk in her place. After 2 appointments his office canceled & rescheduled my appts and then closed and left town. Did not tell any of his patients and no one could get their medical records!

When Dr. Pooja Kumari ran this practice, the service and care was fantastic, but when she had to sell her practice and Dr Zia-Ullah Virk took over, my mother's experience went down-hill. The Nurses and staff are still fantastic, but Dr. Virk was rude and mis-treated my mother. Her first experience with Dr. Virk was the day after he purchased the practice, and he was short and a little rude to my mom. He basically skimmed over the results of a text that Dr. Kumari had run, but did not give my mom any direction or advice on what to do for her arthritis pain except "Eat good and exercise". While it felt like he had wasted her time and money (copay, gas, etc) she gave him the benefit of the doubt because it was his first day and he was apparently having alot of computer issues, etc. Her seco

Dr. Virk was gone the month of December and they cancelled my appointment Jan. 12th because they were not certified for my insurance. I was not able to get my rheumatoid medication. I got in touch with my PCP and they ordered it. Never did hear from that office again. Would not recommend him and would not go back.

Dr Virk refused to continue medication for 2 celebrex a day that previous rheumatologist had me on for 2 years before I moved to the area. When I requested equivalent treatment he personally called me and told me he doesn't agree with the side effects of the medication dosage even though it is working and told me to not ask for it again and abruptly ended the phone call. I have seen the doctor two times in person and he was very short and was only in the room 5 minutes or so. I personally do not recommend him.

My first visit went good and the doctor was friendly. He said I needed to keep taking the medication I was prescribed by my previous rheumatologist. However, when the time came to refill it, he wouldn’t refill. Said I needed to go to my primary. I said I wasn’t willing to go to two doctors to refill one prescription and to please send my file to this other rheumatologist I found who I’d already talked to and would refill it. He decided that he would refill it. I go back for my 3 month checkup and he has a completely different demeanor. He was very cold and spent all of 3, maybe 5 minutes talking to me.
