Dr. Cruz performed ACL surgery on my son. His bedside manner is great. The surgery and recovery went well. So happy my son will be back on the baseball field again soon!
Have had a wonderful experience with University Orthopedics (namely the Mansfield and East Providence locations) over the last 4 months, as my son is healing from a multiple bone forearm fracture. Dr. Cruz is sharp, professional and personal. His confidence has been reassuring. Each staff member we’ve encountered, from front desk to nurses, radiographers, and casting techs, has offered a unique kindness and expertise at each office visit. Thank you!
Dr Cruz not only has a great bedside manner, he is also a phenomenal surgeon! He removed a tumor from my son's leg and my son didn't need to take one pain pill and the scar looks great! I would have give him 5 stars but NOBODY EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE AT THE OFFICE! Very frustrating considering I only wished to confirm the time of my son's follow up visit!
When my teenager broke his leg for the second time in three years, we were distraught and terrified. Dr. Cruz and his amazing team did a phenomenal job with Joey's surgery, recovery, and now his follow up care at University Orthopedics! After an injury that would typically take months to heal, Joey is partially weight baring after 4 weeks and looking at a full recovery in 6 more short weeks. A true testament to Dr. Cruz and his team. He is patient, kind, and has an incredible bed side manner. I am so grateful my son was fortunate enough to receive care from Dr. Cruz!
Dr cruz is my daughters ortho for 3 years now, and who she will follow for life due to LLD. He is always open to any questions and ideas from me and helpful in every way. His bedside manner is excellent and even though we can sometimes be dramatic parents about our child’s needs and comforts he never treats us with anything except concern and kindness and respect. He came highly recommended to us from one of his pediatric surgical patients and we now highly recommend him to others.
