Arcadia Valley Skilled Nursing & Rehabiliation

This place is awful. Do not send your family member here. My husband’s grandpa was supposed to be there for 20 days after 2 weeks in the hospital but was only there for 12 hours due to their lack of care and complete disregard for his well being and dignity. When we called to talk to a supervisor about the issue, we were told that they were understaffed. Everyone everywhere is understaffed. That does not excuse leaving someone sitting in their own feces for over an hour not once but twice and not keeping them properly hydrated. Completely unacceptable.

The photos are from years ago this place looks nothing like this. There is water pipes running below the ceilings in rooms. The smell of urine hits you as soon as you walk in. This place needs a complete renovation.. I’m sorry but it’s not fit for your loved ones. With the kind of money this place receives they definitely could clean it up.

This place is filthy. The nursing staff provide the patients will little to no privacy while the doors to patient rooms are left open while the nursing staff clean the patients of human waste. This place is in desperate need of a reliable maintenance person. Especially, one that would treat the parking lot for ice and snow. I have also witnessed a huge liability of the nursing home. While a nurse was serving patient meds, the nurse just laid down a patient's medication in a common area and did not witness the patient taking their medications or ensure that the medication wasn't taken by another patient.

Run so far away from this place and don’t look back, if you value your loved one’s life!!!! I wish our family would have known this then because we valued my mom’s life and she meant everything to her family, but they sure didn’t show an ounce of care there though and it was even worse after her passing. She was only there a short month. My mom died on Dec.18th, yeah right before Christmas, due to the staff there not listening and ignoring our concerns of her having pneumonia and letting it go too long to where she became septic and she acquired RSV there and then delaying help for her at a very critical time causing us to lose our precious mom. I made several attempts to contact the administrator regarding our long-overdue requests for all medical records to determine the status of the request. I left voicemail messages and, to date, have never received a return phone call. However, the administrator was on Facebook several times throughout the time. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I guess once your loved one passes, we no longer matter to them. And honestly we didn’t matter to them when our loved one was still living. I also left a review on their FaceBook page only to find they’re being deleted. Since Facebook is within their control, I guess they only keep positive comments. UPDATE: I’ve been blocked from their Facebook page now, denying me the ability to make any comments about the poor care of our loved one.
