Based SOLELY on front desk and Dr.Alla Hamid. I have never had a therapist that I felt actually cared enough to let me feel vulnerable with them. She isn’t just there to hear your general story- she truly helps get you through trauma. I saw Dr Alcott.. he seemed great at first but in the end doesn’t actually listen to the patient. Suggested I “save half my plate of food for the next day” I eat about a cup of food at a time after weight loss surgery so what?? Then when I said no I didn’t do that because that’s unrealistic for the amount of food I eat he said “so you didn’t listen to me” and just made me awful. Labeled me as “obese due to energy imbalance” ?? Anyways, if you need a therapist I STRONGLY suggest Dr Hamid.

I have been dealing with Dr. John Alcott for 6 months now. my recommendation? if you have any issue that warrants seeing any specialist or really anything other than a want to quit smoking, do NOT come here. With the records on file and the nurses showing him and me, he suddenly decided I am too young to have gastroparesis. Yes, the records of my scope are in his computer. I got this diagnosed at a gastroenterologist two years ago. I also recently had my psychiatrists office close. Upon the closing, I have asked John Alcott to prescribe the medication I have been taking for months. One being trazadone, a sleep medication, and 2 being zofran. He has refused to prescribe either, and instead tried to up the dose of my mood stabilizer, though I am already at a dose me and my

I had waited for my appointment for 2 months making it very clear my desires that i wanted a wart removed, after waiting 3 hours in the lobby the Dr tells me he won’t do anything and referred me to another doctor. I am able to see the new doctor tomorrow morning but what deeply upset me was when I told the physician at Applegate medical I’ve waited 2 months and 3 hours for this to be done, he rudely replied “I’ve also been waiting three hours” this wait time is typical there…Never once have I had a problem with any Nurse at applegate, they’ve always been kind. I do not recommend this physician whatsoever.

Incredibly incompetent and careless psychiatrists. Tried to put my wife on a potentially deadly medication because he was too stupid to know the interactions between the other medications she was taking. Fortunately, I actually give a **** and researched it and we figured it out and immediately left the practice. Not to mention staff was ALWAYS incredibly rude if she wasn't early, which is ridiculous because she would have to wait up to an hour to see a completely disinterested and disconnected "psychiatrist" for two whole minutes AFTER her supposed appointment was to start.. AVOID this place at all costs if you care about your well being.
