In honor of National French Bulldog Day, I wanted to share my baby’s story. August entailed a limp. What felt small at first quickly became overwhelming. Zeus was taken to the vet and diagnosed with luxating patella, and surgery was scheduled about a month out. During that waiting period, his condition continued to worsen. September entailed devastating clarity. At his scheduled surgical appointment, it was discovered that Zeus did not have luxating patellas after all. We were then referred to the University of Tennessee Veterinary Medical Center, where they performed extensive testing and still couldn’t find a definitive cause. Unfortunately, my first visit here was the last for my 15 year old Pom, Teddy. We just moved to the area recently and Teddy's health took a turn for the worst. He has had health problems over the years as he's gotten older, and we have always been able to treat them... but this was an issue we couldn't fix. Turns out, he was in advanced kidney failure. I had no way of knowing other than him being more thirsty than usual. I just thought it was another sign of his being an older gentleman. The young lady vet was very kind and understanding while my son and I cried after hearing the news. I'm crying as I write this. They tried to treat him with medicine, but his condition was too far advanced. He passed the next day. We had him cremated. When we went to pick up his ashes, enclosed was a lovel

Our doggy was taken back immediately and worked on him all night until he was transferred out in the morning. They genuinely care and keep you updated. If you're there, it can be one of the worst times of your life and they do truly help make it better. Very knowledgeable, felt safe leaving our boy with them. And prices weren't as bad as I expected. They have payment options too.

Dr. Stone and staff are amazing, kind, and compassionate people that know what they are doing and do it extremely well. They went out of their way to make sure my boy was not stressed during his appointment and listened to my concerns without making me feel crazy! They do wonderful in dealing with a pet’s uncertainty or anxiety, and I did not feel pressured or rushed into a decision. Their setup inside makes for stress free visits, and everyone from the front to the back of this clinic were some of the friendliest people I have had the honor of meeting and working with. Incredible veterinary service that is affordable, effective, and makes you feel heard. We will be bringing all of our animals here while living in the area!
