They double charged us without giving us proper information about the prices. We thought the overall price of two meds that we needed was an x amount but they billed us double separately for each meds without clarifying to us. If they told us price will be double we would have never ordered from them. Then they blamed us for not asking for a clarification! The pharmacist who talked with us on phone was also very rude telling us she already charged us and nothing can be done about it in very abrupt way. We weren’t asking to cancel the order, but just wanted clarification. Little politeness from her would have helped in a long way, but no. They lost a potential customer now. We will not return there for sure.

Very caring, knowledgeable, and competent staff. Excellent service, including prompt compounding service and fast delivery. Great concern for their customers' health and recovery.

Response from the owner4 days ago This patient was called with provider recommendations & prescriptions. She was at the airport but insisted that we talk to her as she is talking to everyone around her. This person authorized all the recommendations from the provider. She declined one supplement. These we’re mailed out . The following day she called back & said she only wanted prescriptions. We told her already mailed & she authorized the items & amount . She said she’d refuse the shipment. She authorized what was mailed & pharmacies can’t take returns . To Address your response about doctor’s orders only. Your statement above is not totally correct. To set the truth up front, your problem with me stated several times over the phone was that I used the word ORDER instead of PERSCRIPTION

This is a family owned business. Which I respect, because I too have a family owned business. It kills me to have to leave a review. I’ve spoken too and been disrespected/ hung up on by Calvin the father of the shoppe. They say they “insure” their packages but they don’t, so when my package went missing, he made no effort to try and receive the insured value he says was placed on the package. Therefore I had to pay for shipping twice and my medicine twice as well. He went ahead and gave me my last refill, sent it to me and charged my card without my PERMISSION. (My card company dealt with that) And now he no longer provides me a service. I’ve called and “apologized” for something I didn’t even do. Must’ve thought I was lying. I have used this pharmacy quite often to have meds shipped to my mother. They were always kind enough to ship her order and let her mail back a check. 90+ old people have certain ways they like to do things and Apothecary Shoppe went above and beyond to please my mother. I would like to add that I went to high school with the owners. They were kind, honest, caring people 43 years ago and nothing has changed. If anyone has an issue with the Apothecary Shoppe, they may want to look at their own actions. I would guess the issue lies with the customer, not the pharmacy.
