Apothecary Options

10 stars! I need a compounded medicine and they always refill it very quickly. I did an online refill request and got an email when they filled it. Thankfully I saw it before the mail went out because i had forgot to update to my new address. I called them and they pulled the package, did a new label and sent me an email confirmation. It was 100% my error but they were incredibly kind and considerate when fixing it.

We've been using Apothecary Options for several years for our cat's compounded prescriptions, and I've found the staff to be quick, accurate, and efficient. I'm glad we have a pharmacy in Chico that can provide these medications in compounded form. The curbside pickup is super fast, and filling / re-filling prescriptions over the phone is also very fast and easy. As a business owner, I enjoy working with other businesses that run a tight ship - all too rare to find these days!

They do not accept insurance. A very small amount of hemorrhoid cream was $86.80.

When Apothecary Options opened years ago I was one of their first customers. They were wonderful, informed and caring professionals. The fellow who bought their business is not nearly of the same high caliber. When things became confused I went down to talk with them during business hours, when they were open. The door was locked but they could be clearly seen through the window, just sitting there. I did what anyone would do and knocked on the window. Zero response. Finally a young man, identifying as the new owner, came out and smirked, saying that they would no longer serve me. I was hurt and flabbergasted. Aware of what the original owners went through to create this community service; I was broken-hearted as well as being personally insulted and beyond inconvenienced with my health
